I. Introduction

A. Background of the Study

Heat has been a part of our everyday life. As a matter of fact, some of us really gets irritated when experiencing such heat in our body due to uneven temperature. Particularly these days, when we already suffering sudden temperature changing due to Global Warming. Digging more deeply, heat occurs not only in our body but also to the things around us. For example, a spoon left in a hot soup can be found too hot. Considering this example, have you thought what triggers heat to do such? The reason behind this is heat transfer. This topic caught the researchers’ attention and it pushed them to do this study. These are the following objectives the researchers would like to achieve:
1. To know which objects are capable to experience heat transfer.
2. To know how heat transfer occur.
3. To identify the relationship between the three forms of heat transfer.

B. Statement of the Problem This study intends to know and answer the relationship between Radiation, Conduction, and Convection. This study also aimed to answer specifically the following:
1. How the three forms of energy can relate to each other?
2. How the heat transfer occur?

C. Significance of the Study This study determined the relationship between Radiation, Conduction, and Convection. The results helped us to get details applicable for heat transfer. This is also a big help to those who want to get small details for deeper experimentations. This study will basically benefit the following: 1. Students - this study will help them when doing experimentations concerning the three forms

    The body gains and loses heat through the external environment by radiation, conduction, convection and evaporation of water. These are all physical mechanisms known to the human body. (Vander, Sherman & Luciano 1998). Radiation is an infrared energy between two objects that have no physical contact with each other. Heat is gained by radiation from the sun, hot sand on the beach and hot coal. Heat can also be lost as radiation to cool vegetation, water in the sea and snow on the ground. (Seeley, Stephens & Tate 2002). Conduction is the exchange of heat between two objects, which have direct contact with each other (Seeley, Stephen & Tate 2002). Using conduction heat moves from areas of high to low temperature. This usually occurs in the body when a person comes in to contact with a cold surface/object. For example if a person sits on a cold surface with no or poorly insulated clothing then this could cause heat loss. This is particularly dangerous in the elderly when they fall to the ground and become unconscious especially in cold conditions. (Watson 1998). Convection is the transfer of conductive heat between the body and the air; it moves warm air away from the body to be replaced by cooler air. (Seeley, Stephens & Tate 2002). Convection occurs as a result of air currents, which is why we get colder much quicker in windy conditions and why fans cool us down. (Watson 1998). Evaporation is the conversion of water from a liquid to a gaseous form. Heat is lost when water evaporates from the body surface. (Seeley, Stephen & Tate 2002).…
