ACKNOWLEDGEMENT
We would like to extend our sincere gratitude to Miss Nemea Mae Flores Cosido for giving us the chance to show our best in this Investigatory Project and for guiding us while we were conducting our experimentation.
We would also like to acknowledge Miss Jerlyn Abne Toledo for the free use of computer and Mister Antonio Martel Cordero for watching us while we were doing our project when Miss Cosido was not around. Thanks also to Merriam Online Dictionary, Amerikana Encyclopaedias and Wikipedia, the free Encyclopaedia for the definition of hard words, and to Sto. Tomas College’s dry and wet laboratories for the materials, equipment and venue of experimentation.
All of these will not be done without the persevering help and continuous guidance of our Lord, our greatest praise to him.

This study tries to find out the potency of the combined extracts of the Chili Pepper and Kamias as a mosquito repellent, thus the prevention of Dengue Fever.
1.) Can the extracts of Chili Pepper and Kamias prevent from having mosquito bite especially that of the Aedes aegypti, a Dengue - causing mosquito?
2.) What are the natural repellent substances contained in these two plants?
3.) Are these effective and safe to use? Will this mosquito killer (Chili Pepper and Kamias) can affect the health or even kill the person who accidentally took it?
4.) Is the said mosquito killer (Chili Pepper and Kamias) cheaper than the commercial ones?
C. Hypothesis
