Iron Man is a 2008 Sci-fi movie. The genius and playboy Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr) is a successful CEO of Stark Industries; a weapon company founded by his father. Tony Stark is a mechanical mastermind whose family motto is, “Peace means having a bigger stick”, but when a trip to Afghanistan goes explosively wrong, his life changes drastically. He’s mortally wounded and captured by the Taliban(terrorists).Unable to bear captivity, he hatches a hi-tech escape plan which also gives birth to his first Iron Man suit which he uses to escape. Back in the U.S, he announces that his company will cease making weapons and he begins work on an improved version of his armoured suit only to find that Obadiah Stane, his second in command at Stark industries, has been selling Stark weapons to the insurgents. He uses his new suit to return to Afghanistan to destroy the arms and then to stop Stane from misusing his research. So how will he do that…?

Review
Iron Man is a movie that you either really like or not like at all. If you are a comic book fan then you might like this movie because the cartoon in the comic comes to life, showing off his shiny and functional armour, but if you are not, then you might find this movie absolutely boring because it has got lot of science fiction in it .As a lifelong iron man fan, I feel this film did the comic book justice. It is easily the best marvel comic book film to date. Even people who were not previously aware of Tony Stark or fans of him now adore Iron Man because of this fantastic movie.
Iron Man is an original story in more ways than one; it begins on dangerous ground in the harsh terrain of warzone in Afghanistan, riding in a Humvee with some soldiers in what is presumably Afghanistan. They are attacked and are outgunned (and soldiers are peppered with armour piercing bullets). Stark manages to get away from the vehicle and get cover behind rocks where he tries to call for help, but he gets hit by

Stephen Ambrose, known for his works as a historian and biographer, had a keen interest with World War II. His research led him to serve as the President of the National World War II museum in New Orleans, Louisiana, write many books detailing accounts of several divisions involved in World War II, and several biographies based on the lives of Dwight Eisenhower and Richard Nixon. Band of Brothers is the exhaustive work by Ambrose which contains first person accounts of soldiers who fought in the E Company, 506th Regiment, 101st Airborne of the United States Army. In this work, Ambrose chronologically records the recollections of several soldiers and writes about their times in the European leg of World War II starting from the training camp in Toccoa, Georgia, all the way to Hitler’s Eagle’s Nest in Berchtesgaden, Germany. In Band of Brothers, Stephen Ambrose means to inform those who read it about the remarkable adventures of one of the best divisions in the armed forces during World War II.…

I have an odd relationship with this film, it entertained me from start to finish, and at no point did it drag or feel grueling. Some might chock that up to good pacing, but I’d chock it up to lots and lots of brainless and inconsequential explosions. Let me be honest with you for a second, I secretly enjoy a lot of films because I know they’re bad, but that doesn’t make them any less enjoyable. This film is going to fit nicely into that collection of films I liked more than my brain tells me I should have. A lot of people are going to…

The movie that I will be reviewing is Cinderella Man. Directed by Ron Howard and stars Russell Crowe, Renee Zellweger and Craig Bierko. The story is about James Braddock, who is a light heavyweight boxer, who was forced to retire from the ring after breaking his hand in the last fight. His wife Mae had hoped for years and years that he would quit boxing before really messing himself up. James works as a laborer at the docks but he still has ambitions to box. A couple years after his last fight, his old manager wants him to be a last minute substitute against the world’s second-ranked boxer. James agrees to fight, looses a couple times but then eventually steps his game up and wins. The point of view in the story is first person. I suppose this point of view was used by the director to give the audience a perspective of James’s life. The mood of the story is surprising. It is surprising because when you watch James during fights, you’ll never know if he will give up or win. Cinderella Man takes place in New York and New Jersey during the great depression. It is important to the story because it was a time when people experienced the worst economic hardship in the United States history. The main characters are James Braddock, who is an ex-prizefighter, Mae Braddock, James’s wife and Joe Gould, a boxing manager. Its intended audience are sports and boxing lovers, because the movie features many fights. The main theme of the film is that that no matter how dim things look and how unrealistic goals can be, you can always achieve them if you work hard enough. In my opinion, I think the actors did an excellent job, the acting was not bad nor lines being cheesy. They used a lot of emotion and expressing when saying their lines. In my opinion, I think the movie was perfect the way it was, I really enjoyed and it also made me want to achieve my dream goals in…

The Vietnam War was a long, bloody conflict that ended with the United States first major military upset. It had huge ramifications, globally and nationally. Many journalist and even film directors have tried to portray the war in all it’s entirety. Full Metal Jacket a film by Stanley Kubrick is unlike any other Vietnam move I’ve seen thus far. Full Metal Jacket could easily be separated into two short films. One following the lives of men in the Marine Corps as they endure brutal hazing during war boot camp.…

Andrew Carnegie is known as the king of steel. He was born November 25, 1835 in Dunfermline, Scotland. In 1848 he and he and his family immigrated to America and ended up in Pittsburg, where they lived in a small house and had very little money. In 1872 he traveled to England where he met Henry Bessemer, the man who converted iron into steel. He took Bessemer’s brilliant steel-making process back to America and built several steel mills in Pennsylvania. At the age of 65 he finally decided it was time to move on from the mills and he sold the Carnegie Steel Company to J.P. Morgan for $480,000,000. A hero is someone who has good values in life, is a role model, and is inspirational to others. Andrew Carnegie was a hero because he developed successful business strategies, was a great philanthropist, and was a inspirational “rags to riches” story.…

“Is it better to be feared or loved, if one cannot have both,” was once proposed by Machiavelli in The Prince, which to this day has a significant impact on the perspective of political empires and their rulers (Machiavelli). In Robert Penn Warren’s All the King’s Men, Willie Stark explores a means to achieve both ends which results in a hero’s tragic downfall resulting in the ultimate culmination of misfortune the loss of life. Robert Penn Warren’s masterpiece loosely follows Aristotle’s tragedy outline which is comprised of six parts, plot, characterization, thought, diction, melody, and spectacle(Aristotle). Willie Stark’s path to calamity is most noticed through his interaction with characters, the movement of plot, and his catharsis. Willie’s flaws are drawn from his interaction in politics, betrayal, his moral relativism, and circumstantial events which stir his perception on the world.…
