Irony In A Good Story

A good story is about what the audience thinks is interesting or important. A great story often has both by using storytelling to make important news interesting. To me, a story has three parts and these parts are Irony, Characters, and Setting. If we didn’t have irony, we wouldn’t have the expression of one's meaning by using language that normally signifies the opposite, typically for humorous or emphatic effect. Irony remains today one of the most abused terms in the real world to this day. Verbal irony is one of the most common irony you will see in books. Verbal irony is when one character says or does the opposite of what he/she thinks. Without character, there is no one to be inspired by. Characters are the main part of a story other than setting. A character is the combination of mental characteristics and behavior that distinguishes a person or group. I think there are two different types of characters. There are the main characters who are the characters who have all the attention. There are also the supporting characters which support the main characters or the story.
Without setting there wouldn’t be background or expression.
We also wouldn’t have the place or type of surroundings where something is positioned or where an event takes place. There is also Irrelevant setting which is when the characters do not comment upon the setting; there may be no evidence of a location. To me these are the main parts of a good story. The reason why is because without these characteristics the story wouldn’t be a good at all. This is because these key points take up a good part out of a
story.
