Irresponsibility In The Movie 'Miracle Season'
Gene Bedley once said “Responsibility finds a way. Irresponsibility makes excuses.” he is saying that if you push off the work that needs to be done it doesn't go away which starts to cause more problems. Let’s say you did your paper very poorly a responsible person would apologize and redo while a irresponsible person would come up with a list of excuses. Those who choose to be a irresponsible person usually don’t get as far in life for two main reasons everyone has problems and work so your boss won’t accept silly excuses also work piles up so much they never have time to do anything else. Don’t be irresponsible because life will come back to bite you.

My friends and I understand what is mean to be both responsible and irresponsible they both have taught us valuable lessons in life. A time when my friend Chayse learned this was earlier this year. It was the last day of spring brake and there was nothing to do until Chayse’s mother thought of a movie for Chayse to see with some friends, so she asked her daughter

So not only was Caroline irresponsible her friends were to. This relates to many things now a days because just like this really happen anything like it can

Personal responsibility is an essential element in every aspect of one’s life. What exactly does personal responsibility mean; the answer is most likely different for everyone. Chuck Gallozzi may have summed it up best when he stated, “Responsibility is not a burden, it is a blessing” (Gallozzi, 2009, title page). Those nine simple words speak volumes in that taking responsibility or holding oneself accountable, answerable, for their actions or inactions, accepting the consequences that result from those actions or inactions and most important, understanding the effect one has on family, friends, loved ones, coworkers, and classmates. Gallozzi went on to say, “No, we are not responsible for all that happens to us, but we are responsible for how we think, feel and act when they happen” (Gallozzi, 2009, Para 1).…

    Victim vs. Creator

In class we discussed about Victim Vs. Creator. While be taught this I was thinking I have been in both positions before. But what these both have in common is that it takes responsibility. Responsibility is the foundation of success. “The essence of personal responsibility is responding wisely to life's opportunities and challenges, rather than waiting passively for luck or other people to make the choices for us.” I really like this quote because I could relate and put this quote into action. Everyday I have decisions to make whether it be that I get up for school early or if I decided to hang out with friends and I knew I had major assignments due. If I get ready for school on time I am able to get ready and be there on time without rushing, if I didn’t get up on time I probably wouldn’t be as prepared. And the second example, I am guilty to say that I have been in this position many times before where I chose hanging out than doing homework. Yes, I did get my work done, but rushing and not fully doing the assignment to my fullest potential was not fun. So what I learned is that we should make those creator decisions.…

Being responsible plays a huge factor in my life. If people weren’t responsible, society wouldn’t be the way it is. Working at a multimillion dollar motorsports dealership requires my attention and responsibility to keep things moving smoothly, including getting the job done properly and in a timely manner. Efficiency is a key characteristic feature in me. When I have a task to complete I do what it takes to get it done. This includes figuring out what it takes and planning out how to accomplish it accordingly.…

An example of this irresponsibility is I still think that it is funny to make weird noises in class, and still do not listen to things that trustworthy people tell me. This English class is a perfect example my irresponsibility, because I put off all the work to the end of the semester even though my parents told me not to. Putting off all of this work has now made the last week of this class miserable for me. Although I am fully physically matured, my mind is definitely not mature enough to be considered an adult. This is another reason on top of my fiscal irresponsibility that holds me back from being considered an…

To me, taking responsibility for your own actions is similar to the phrase “you got to crawl before you can walk”. Owning up to your mistakes and actions, and realizing that you are in charge of your destiny isn’t an easy task because at this point, you just started to crawl. A lot of times we find ourselves falling back into that mind frame of doing just enough to get by and don’t realize that bad habits are hard to break. “Never grow a wishbone where a backbone should be.” This is a powerful quote from Clementine Paddleford as advice to his daughter. To show backbone, is to show determination and the same can be shown when taking responsibility for you. Wanting in life can also be like wishing and as it’s been said time and time again, wishes don’t always come true…

    Personal Responsibility

Personal responsibility is to have respect for themself and others around us. Responsibilities are where we take care of what needs done. Either in our personal lives, work, and in school. We as adults are responsible to take care of what needs done for each task that we take on for that day. If we are not responsible for what we do, we will not get what needs accomplished for that day. Responsible also means that we take account for our actions, no matter how big or how small the problem may be, and facing the consequences, results, and the outcome that your actions create. When people hear the word “responsibility,” they do not truly realize that it is easier than they think, and it comes naturally. “The power behind taking responsibility for your actions lies in putting an end to negative thought patterns. You no longer dwell on what went wrong or focus on whom you are going to blame. You don't waste time building roadblocks to your success. Instead, you are set free and can now focus on succeeding.” ― Lorii Myers…

    Personal Responsibility

What does personal responsibility mean? To me personal responsibility means that I am responsible for what I choose in life. I have to hold myself accountable and cannot blame others for the choices I make. Jake Lawson wrote on the Livestrong.com website, “Accepting personal responsibility includes but is not limited to: acknowledging that you are solely responsible for the choices in your life and accepting that you are responsible for what you choose to feel or think” (Lawson, 2011). That statement is very profound and powerful. It is easy to place the blame on others but all that really does is hold us back from finding our true potential. We cannot use scapegoats to hide the fact that we possibly make bad decisions in life. Whichever direction my life heads, I am the captain of this ship and I cannot let others control what I do. I have control over my emotional responses to outside interference and must live with the consequences of my actions. In the Pacific Philosophical Quarterly 89 (Issue 4), 497-515, Dana Klein wrote ‘people are responsible when they act with the ability to do the right thing for the right reasons, or a good thing for good reasons.’(Klein, pg. 497) What exactly does that mean? It means that if we choose not to do the right thing or make bad decisions, they have not shown personal responsibility. I have to be willing to improve myself professionally, academically and personally in life. I can never be complacent or else I will never accomplish more and…

If you fail to take responsibility for your actions or to be held accountable for something you may have done then you may never catch the full grasp of being a mature adult. To define responsibility it means to take responsibility to someone or for some action. Responsibility is something you learn as a minor. Being responsible is a learned behavior. It is not an accident and it requires patience as well as effort. For example, as a child you are taught to tell the truth. If you marked on the wall with a marker and you tell your parents that it was you and not someone else then you’ve taken responsibility for what you have done, you are held accountable for the marking on the wall.…
