So it is essential for the government to have a system of control on gun owners including regular tests on the following aspects, mental illness, utilization of a gun, and the ability to own a gun.
Any gun owner should submit to a regular mental illness test. Doing a mental illness test regularly for a gun owner should be one of the mission to the government in order to avoid some crisis in the society like shooting at schools or any
public places; most of the time, the people who were accused for those actions have mental issues. The test is important to do regularly also because the gun owner can get his gun in a period when he doesn’t have any mental problems, but after a couple of times everything might be changed. Additionally, a high percentage of gun suicides do by people who have mental illness.
