Comparison and contrast between two major religions
Religion is defined as set of beliefs related to worshipping of God or gods. It is also related to cause, nature and purpose of universe. It may also be defined as set of beliefs, values, and practices based on the teachings of a spiritual leader. There may be one or more spiritual leader according to different religions. Among all religions Christianity is 31.5% of entire population, Islam 23.2% and Hinduism 15%. For comparison and contrast, Islam and Hinduism has been selected. Both religion have many dissimilarities with respect to idol worshipping, history and many other aspects as well. If we compare similarities of Islam with Hinduism or Christianity than Christianity will be closer to Islam as compared to that of Hinduism. It is because of this difference that led to separation of Sub Indo Continent into Pakistan and India as it was difficult for them to live together where one religion used to sacrifice and eat COW (ISLAM) and other consider it a sacred animal (HINDUISM).Although Hinduism is more ancient religion than Islam but it is Islam which spreading in more ratio and it is Islam who unrevealed many hidden secrets of science many hundred years ago.

Among all, major difference between these two religions are the concept of God. Islam is based on Monotheism (Belief in the existence of one God) whereas Hinduism is based on Polytheism (Belief in multiple supernatural beings). They believe that there are different gods with having different responsibilities, gods that Hindus worship are Brahma, Vishnu, Maheshwor, Ganesh, Laxmi, Saraswati, and Durga and Hindus believes that they are responsible for creator, preserver, destroyer, first god, goddess of wealth, goddess of knowledge and goddess of victory respectively so by offering prayers to each they believe that they will gain success in that area.
