At this time, the GHS team is conducting Izabellah’s triannual re-evaluate Izabellah’s cognitive and behavioral skills to monitor any changes in her a learning difficulties impacting her ability to learn.

Izabellah currently resides in Bristol with her mother, Cheyanne Lee Loveall, a medical assistant, and her father, Joseph Loveall, a construction work. Izabellah also has a younger brother, Chase, 4 years old, who attends preschool in Greene-Hills School. Izabellah’s …show more content…
In kindergarten, she struggled with reading skills and retention of information. Izabellah was referred by her mother due to concerns regarding her academic skills levels and her ability to retain information. These concerns were shared by school staff. Additionally, school staff noted Izabellah having difficulties acquiring basic reading and math skills.
In June of 2013 Izabellah was found eligible for special education services as a student with a Specific Learning Disability. Her initial services included, 2.5 hours a week of Language Arts support and 2.5 hours a week of Math support. These supports have been continued throughout her time in school. Izabellah continues to have difficulty decoding, comprehension, and word math problems. Teachers report that she is a hard worker and she continually tried to improve her academics. Additionally, records show that she continues to work towards and achieves her IEP goals and
