Why Jaguar? - Motivation

Jaguar is one of the most refined and most respected brands in the automotive sector. When you say Jaguar you say luxury, agility, rarity. You buy a Jaguar not for its specifications, because you may find some competitors with better fuel consumption or with better acceleration, but this car has a “soul”. For someone who believes that cars are just a thing that carries you from one point to another my affirmation would sound crazy, would be nonsense, but for a car enthusiast is a fact.
Another reason for why am I doing my certificate about a car brand is my passion for cars. Since I was a kid I loved everything about cars: from the mechanical part to the design part. I know that you don’t buy a car; it chooses its owner, because the car is an extension of its driver. You must feel the car, you must know what it can do and what it can’t, you must test its limits and you must not go beyond them because you will be “punished”.
In the first part of my certificate you will find an introduction about the brand, with a short presentation of the history and also you will find stuff about the company in general.
In the second part I will present the cars that this brand commercialized over the years.
In the third part, I will make a short presentation about the cars that are sold in present.
In the fourth part, which also is the last one, I will write my own tribute to

One of the most famed inventions since the late 1800's was the automobile. The car has revolutionized transportation from the day a company named "Reo" sold its first car, the Curved Dashed Oldsmobile in 1901, to today. The topic of cars can be broken into many different categories, from SUV and sports to European and American. One maker of cars that has branched a lot in past years is Japan. Though we do not realize it, most of our cars come from Japan. The top car company as of 2011 is Toyota. Toyota is a Japanese automobile manufacturer that exports its cars all around the world. Japanese cars can be sub classified into three categories. These different branches of cars are owned by many people across Japan and the United States of America. Mazda Corp Overview

A respectable website states that “There are affordable cars, and then there are cars that offer thrilling performance. Rarely do the two ever converge, but Japanese automaker Mazda has made it a tradition of coming up with vehicles that combine both of these eminently desirable traits” (Mazda Reviews - Mazda Cars). It is not surprising that year 2013 marked yet another milestone in the Mazda Motor Corporation’s success: the company announced and launched a brand new advertising campaign, “Game Changers”. It was the biggest campaign launch in 13 years since the introduction of the “Zoom Zoom” concept. The new campaign featured “sports and historical figures who have ‘changed the game’” (Mazda Turns to 'Game Changers' in Apple-Like Campaign). Its goal was not only to tell the Mazda’s story and highlight its ability to revolutionize concept and designs, but also showcase the ongoing development and to attract younger generation consumers who could potentially become loyal to the brand (Mazda Announces All-New Advertising Campaign, "Game Changers").…

The Ferrari’s first car was 1947 125 Sport car with a V12 that raced in the Monaco Grand Prix. It wasn’t until 1951 that the Ferrari won the Grand Prix and in 1952 the World Title was won. This is a company that has so much history within itself with personal and company struggles. The history itself draws people in to at least read about it if you already don’t know about it. The company is based in Italy and is considered the best racing car still to this day. The Ferrari brand name has grown enormously, they now offer men and women’s clothing, watches, shoes and so much more. Yes only a handful of consumers can afford the Ferrari but there is a branch that some more people can afford. Fiat, Fiat owns 85% of the Ferrari brand, the second son of Enzo Ferrari only owns 10% and the other 5% is Mubadala Development Company. Over the years, being brought up around cars my whole life, there are several words that people use to describe a Ferrari that stick out to me. Lifeless, strong, beautiful, stylish and fast are to name a few. To be able to own a Ferrari is a goal in most car collector’s dreams. I can remember being a kid and the book sales would have pictures of Ferraris’ for posters that we all wanted, even the girls. They attract all ages by their look and knowing they are so fast. Now days all the famous people have them, rappers, movie stars and that wants to make the youth have one even more. There are so few made, because Ferrari is such a small company, that each one is so special. Ferrari takes their time to design each and every one of the cars. To own a Ferrari is makes the owner feels special and good about themselves; it makes other people think you have a power in their mind. It isn’t every day you see someone driving a Ferrari. The Ferrari stands out about any other car and speaks for itself when you see them. If Fiat hadn’t stepped in after Enzo Ferrari had passed away I don’t believe Ferrari would be around now. Fiat is a much more affordable…
