Jai Pausch surrendered her own wants and needs, portraying her commitment to her family, expressing the importance of “playing the cards you’re dealt.” Jai Pausch guided her family through Randy’s situation with her persistent efforts.She cared for a cancer patient and three little kids, forfeiting her own needs.She had to sacrifice her personal time with Randy so that he could write and present his last lecture. Her actions show that she will do anything to make sure her family is comfortable and happy, even if she isn’t. This also implies that Jai values her family over anything else.
