The theme don’t let jealousy control your actions is supported by many pieces of the story. One piece of the text Ray Bradbury writes is “And then, of course, the biggest crime of all was that she had come here only five years ago from Earth, and she remembered the sun” This piece from the story shows that others see Margot, the main character, that coming from Earth was a “crime” to them. Building off of that, the children are jealous of Margot because she remembers the sun and that others don’t. This is the reason why the children are jealous of her.
