anything. Once the couple reached Bethlehem, They needed a place to stay and rest, however no one would accept them into their home. However after a long time of pleading one man allowed them to rest in a small pen, meant for his farm animals, and this, is where Jesus was born. Most of Jesus’ early life is unknown, but the majority is in the New Testament.
Right after Jesus’ birth a star appeared right above him, attracting visitors from the east. The people who came believed the star was a sign that a new king or Messiah, had been born. However there was already a ruler of the land, King Herod the Great, a greedy cruel man with interest only of himself. The attention that was brought to “ a newborn king” disturbed the king, So Herod ordered that every newborn in the area was to be killed. Because of this man hundreds of children were brutally killed. This is what most likely cause Jesus, Mary, and Joseph, to go to egypt, until Herod died. After his death, the family returned to Nazareth. At the age of 12, Jesus went missing. After a while Mary and Joseph found him in the temple, where he said one of his many famous quotes, “ Did you not know that i would be here, in my father's house?”As a boy, jesus was always faithful to God, his true father. Jesus was raised as a Jewish boy, he was baptised in the jordan river, by John the Baptist. He often talked of the Kingdom of God, now formally known as
heaven.
