Jesus was an influential leader at the time of his ministry, he inspired many but had a main group of followers, about 12 people their names were: Andrew, Bartholomew or Nathanael, James, the Elder , James, the Lesser or Younger , John, Judas, Jude or Thaddeus, Matthew or Levi, Peter or Simon Peter, Philip , Simon …show more content…
the Zealot, and Thomas. These people wrote (or were in) most of the passages in the Bible. When Jesus became famous enough, people became very angry with him. Thinking he was using dark magic and was the false messiah. So they hung him up on the cross and stabbed him and let him suffer and bleed.
After His death, he rose from the dead spoke with his disciples and ascended into heaven. One of the big myths about Jesus’ resurrection is that his body was taken out of his grave by his disciples to fake a resurrection, there are a lot of flaws with this myth. 1) Jesus was probably one of the biggest controversies at that time, it was ordered by a lot of people to kill Jesus, so if anyone were to get near the grave most likely they were going to be killed by the roman soldiers. 2) In Bible, it talks about how the people could touch and feel Jesus, they saw he eating and drinking like the rest of the humans. If disciples were going to fake Jesus’ resurrection, they would have to get somebody to play as Jesus and/or take the dead body and pretend to make it move like a puppet (which would take a lot of planning and effort, at least more than three days).
A final proof for Jesus’ resurrection and answer the long lasting question: “Did Jesus really resurrected?” The answer is yes, when Jesus came back to life it was recorded that people felt him and saw him eating and drinking.
He walked and talked as well, in fact he had a final dinner with him and his disciples, Christians call it “the Last Supper” but in the Bible it does not mention the name. However, he did go back into heaven, here’s the exact bible quote: “And while they looked steadfastly toward heaven as He went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel, who also said, “Men of Galilee, why do you stand gazing up into heaven? This same Jesus, who was taken up from you into heaven, will so come in like manner as you saw Him go into heaven.”
In Conclusion, these proofs of Jesus resurrection prove that did resurrect and survived death. Even though, the myth about Jesus is a widely spread lie that skeptics use for their arguments against christians. These, proofs can be use in arguments against skeptics
aswell.
