When it comes to the millennial reign of Christ in Revelation chapter 20 the many different perspectives and viewpoints based on the timing of what this event is. “What is the purpose of the millennial kingdom? For one thing, it will be the fulfillment of God 's promises to Israel and to Christ (Ps 2; Luke 1:30-33). Our Lord reaffirmed them to His own Apostles (Luke 22:29-30). This kingdom will be a worldwide display of Christ 's glory, when all nature will be set free from the bondage of sin (Romans 8:19-22). It will be the answer to the prayers of the saints, "My kingdom come!"”…
Friday Night Lights, written by H.G. Bissinger, is a true story about a high school football team in the football crazed West Texas town of Odessa. Bissinger, a journalist from Philadelphia, spent a year living in Odessa following this team around finding out for himself why there is such an obsession for the football team in this town. The book has been quite successful and with that has drawn controversy from some people apart of this book, and the town of Odessa, blaming him for portraying them as highly racist. Even with the controversies, you are able to see that through his points of view to mention the truth and facts, collected in order to write the book, that Bissinger painted a fair picture of the different kind’s racism going on during that time in Odessa.…
In the film Jesus, Joseph seemed to be one of the most important things in Jesus’ life, but in the Bible, there is almost no description of Joseph’s role as a father. Jesus cared about Joseph very much like his own father just like Joseph loved Jesus as his own. In the film, Jesus became very depressed and didn’t want to go preach to the world without his guidance when Joseph died. Joseph was his role model and Jesus did look up to him. Joseph did teach him how to be a carpenter and taught him how to be a servant to God.…
Write a response to these brilliant authors in 40 to 60 words? Surely you jest. We will begin with Ms. Carolyn M. Rodgers’ “Jesus was Crucified”. Read it, and you will know who is narrating. The theme is inequality with an emphasis on the individual elements that led to, what I will refer to as, “the African-American state of mind”.…

In the Christ hymn, Paul endeavors to get his message across through a chiastic structure. By using this structure, Paul helps his recipients to be able to “feel” the decent of Christ from God to the worst death possible. The death that only belonged to non-citizen slaves. Paul then helps to to “feel” the wonderful and mighty exaltation that was given to Christ in return for the sacrifice He made.…
Against this normality of steel and concrete, the characters come on like kids at a junior high reunion, clothed in comic book colors and bright tattered rags. Only two characters have names: Jesus, and a character who plays both John (who baptized Jesus in the bible) and Judas (who denied and betrayed Jesus). The other eight characters, which represent an on-the-spot assembly of disciples, are the cast who play themselves.…
Trait-based perspectives of leadership have been an enduring topic throughout history. The actual inception of leadership and trait-based perspectives is arguable. However, there is no denying its evolution, as seen through research. Zaccaro (2007) stated the analysis of leadership and traits dates back to Galton’s (1869) Hereditary Genius, which articulated two distinct and important points. First, a definition of leadership, which describes exclusive and unique characteristics, possessed by individuals. These individuals were so compelling they were capable of changing the path of events with their judgment and decisions (Zaccaro, 2007). This point while antiquated and dated appeared to be the pioneer of the transformational leadership,…

The Gospel According to Mark, one of the four Gospels in the New Testament which talk about the life of Jesus Christ, contains some of the heaviest usage of figurative language in the Bible. The Gospel of Christian is alleged in our traditions in many customs. Most people have the perception that if you are a Christian you feel you are holier than a non-believer. What they do not understand is that, when anyone makes the choice to become a Christian, they make life-long changes in their lives. On several occasions, friends and sometimes family become offended with the choices you make in becoming a Christian. In my life, my wife and I made the decision to become a Christians, we changed everything in our life, including the way we think.…
