or even have any evidence even though, she wrote my answer she still didn't understand. Reading Yancey's book as really thought me a lot. Yes Jesus didn't live anything like his clothes or house and there are no video footage to show that Jesus came to earth, but Jesus left us on earth a place where we can grow and help each other.Yancey explained the Kingdom in a nice way Jesus being the "Landlord" he left us as the tenant it's like we pay rent, but our rent is based on community giving, sharing and showing love. I see Jesus as a very nice and humble landlord He as trusted us with his house (community, church, and the needy) therefore, we shouldn't misuse that or disspoint him. This makes me realise everyone is always invited to this kingdom. could go back in time and explain to my little I wish I could go back in time and tell my cousin using this scenario Yancey as wrote she would have understood much better what he left behind. Yancey went further to write about "kingdom of heaven" he wrote how the meaning of "kingdom of heaven" is so different from what the people that live in this world think about.
when We hear "Kingdom of heaven" A lot of people assume a lot of things. Yancey was able compare these two assumption to what the people thought while Jesus was on earth and what people think during this time he is no more alive to correct our thought. He discovered There is no much difference with what this two era thought, I agree with what Yancey is saying here I feel like our thought hasn't really changed. I also like how Yancey gives scenario relating to life. He wrote the kingdom is not like a "business" it's not meant for only certain people but it's for everyone and anybody. This kingdom is based on the person's choice not wealth or any other feature we might think. During the time was Jesus preaching he was not telling people the kingdom of God is by "force" or everyone as must go to the kingdom, but it's about choice and this kingdom is within us with rules different from the ones we know on earth, with no geography therefore the kingdom is a place for everyone who as chosen to go …show more content…
there. In the last chapter I read truth in what Yancey wrote he is a very sincere person he accepts that he has many question about Jesus and he really doesn't know how to describe him in just few sentence.
One would think after reading his book Yancey knows everything about Jesus, but he still writes he doesn't know how to describe Jesus in a words. Yancey also wrote in this Chapter about the church and how Churches today are quite different from the what churches are meant to be today. I found it quiet interesting how the church is struggling between keeping ethics and grace we focus more on ethics in the church nowadays. In conclusion I have learnt a lot and I have come to understand the Kindgom of heaven and the kingdom of earth I have realised a lot and I hope to impact these things into people's life. Three
