6 foot on the dot, and one of the most comedic icons of our time, Jimmy Fallon is a top influence on our society. He was going to graduate college with a major of computer science and technology. It seems like our society seems to orbit the lives of celebrities. Famous people seem to control our lives either for better or for worse. We think that certain celebrities can have a positive influence on people and one of those people are Mr. Fallon. This article will describe Jimmy Fallon's history, what he does, and in the end we will assess him and decide whether or not he truly has a positive influence on society. The stack of good deeds he carries is impressive. Not only does Jimmy Fallon donate to charities, but he runs one with Stephen Cobalt as well. Their charity works to help students have a good learning environment. Many celebrities can go out and say that they’ve donated to charities, but not many have actually started their own. Not only did they start a charity, but they raised over 400 million dollars and helped out over 19 million students nationwide. When seeing those numbers people realize how much of an impact Mr. Fallon has on society.The other charities he donates to is ALAFA, Alzheimer’s Association, American Heart Association, American Stroke Association, Entertainment Industry Foundation, Food Bank For New York City, Friars Foundation, Mayor’s fund to Advance New York City, and many more. He has shown compassion, motivation, and most importantly determination. He has run a charity for over 9 years and made a huge impact on many people’s lives. Fallon loves Saturday Night Live, it has been his dream job ever since he was little. Now he runs a show of his own and is driven to make people laugh and do good. Society believes anyone can become who they want to be if they look up to the right person, and have the right people surrounding them in their lives.
