Dear Mrs. Frazier:
Since 1900 Lagniappe has been known for fine candies, appealing to the buyer of luxury and gift items. Now we are ready to market a new product line, and we think you will be as excited about it as we are!
Beginning in time for this year’s “Trick or Treat” season, Lagniappe will be manufacturing a new line of Halloween candies. All the old favorites that children have loved for years will be available, and the prices will be well within the popular range that your customers expect to pay.
In a day or two you will be receiving a sample box from our factory, so that you can see and taste for yourself our licorice drops, chocolate creams, citrus balls, taffy chews, and six other delicious varieties of old-fashioned candy.
All our candies for Halloween will be packaged in individual sizes for safety and repackaged in larger plastic bags for the most economic purchasing. We’re sending a catalog with our sample package. Just use the easy order blank. You will have your candy ready to stack on your shelves by the middle of September.
Sincerely yours,
Williston Abercrombie
