John Filzegeild Kennedy was born on May 21st 1917 in Brookline, Massachusetts. He died at age forty six in an assassination on November 22 1963. He came from a very successful and wealthy family. His family was Irish Catholic He was very loyal to his religion and was proud of what he was. His grandmother was a politician and she was also a mayor. Kennedy had accomplished and achiechived many things during his term. One of his accomplishments was that he was the first catholic and youngest presidents ever to be elected he was only 43 at the time he was elected which was November 8 1961. Another thing that John F Kennedy accomplished was he established the Peace Corps. The Peace Corps was established in November of 1961. This a volunteer program that sends young Americans to countries to promote world peace and friendship. So far it has over 210,000 volunteers in over 139 countries. This has to be his biggest accomplishments as president. One of his achievements was he prevented the nuclear Armageddon. On October 22 1962 Kennedy ordered the establishment of blockage around Cuba to stop soviets from brining in more nuclear weapons and military supplies. Another accomplishment he accomplished was he fought against the U.S steel corporation.
