John Steinbeck's Life And Accomplishments
In the 27th of February of 1902, John Steinbeck was born in a prosperous farming community of Salinas, California. When Steinbeck was a teen-ager, 14 years old to be precise, he had a strong interest in reading and writing, and decide to become a writer. An interesting fact about his adolescent life, is about how he start writing some short stories and send them to magazines without a return address because he was afraid to be rejected and more if they accept his work. During high school he invite friends to his home in order to read aloud to them, and Steinbeck would work late night creating some short story.
