The Sixteen Street Church bombing was a tragic day many lives were ruined that day, four girls were killed and 14 injured in a bomb blast at the Sixteenth Street Baptist Church in Birmingham, Alabama. Riots break out, and two African-American boys, Virgil Ware, 13, and Johnny Robinson, 16, are also killed. In all, at least 20 people are injured from the initial bombing and the ensuing riots. (CNN). The four little girls that died in the Sixteen Street Bombing but no one really recognize Johnny Robinson and Virgir ware, as hero also that help in setting the back bone for the colored peoples' freedom. Johnny Robinson and Virgir also need to be known as the hero that they are

they also died the day of the bombing, although, it did not happen any were near the Sixteen Street Baptist Church it stills as an important role. Johnny Robinson was born 1947 died September 15, 1963 at the age of 16. “ Johnny Robinson who was 16 at the time was with at group of friends that were throw rocks at car draped with a confederate flag , the rock missed and hit a car nearby therefore involving, the police the police came one thing lead to another, Johnny Robinson was shot by police officer accidently or so they say”(Johnson) For many years the Robinson’s had to live with what has been done to him although, it was painful and cruel they never really talked about it until recently the case was evaluated and Johnny Robinson was proclaimed a foot soldier in the civil rights movement.
Word got to Martin Luther King that the children of Birmingham were being killed “The blood of our little children is on your hands."(Smithsonian). The Sixteen Street Baptist Church although was a meeting place for the civil rights movement going on at the moment, the four little girl and the two boys were killed for no reason they were just at the wrong place at the wrong time but there life was not a waste it made integration between the white and black possible and till this day colored people are thankful for the four black girls and the two boys although not everyone knows about them but the world needs to know about them and how they were killed for standing up for their right as a colored person
