Lastly, Josef Mengele, the infamous killer whose nickname “The Angel of Death” could only account for so much, had finally passed away at the age of 67. The sadistic man who escaped capture for so long met his fate when he suddenly suffered a stroke while swimming on a beach near Bertioga, Brazil, on February 7, 1979, which made him drown. Numerous health complications and problems during his time in hiding became major repercussions on his condition and led to his demise. Although, his body was not yet discovered until 1985 where German police, investigating in South America with recently found evidence, discovered the site he was buried in and exhumed his corpse.
