to say that these men are equally crazy. This is demonstrated through their rise to power, use of power towards their own people and other countries with no repercussions. After World War I, Germany was a country that was in urgent need of a strong and reliable leader and government who would bring peace and equality.
This leader needed to pick up the pieces and turn Germany back into a powerhouse country who could compete with the likes of america that it once was before the war. The conditions in Germany after the war were very distantly forgotten in a matter that was very bleak. The country was very far in debt, on top of that millions of citizens could not find work to sustain themselves or family which came to hunger. After the war, Germany was forced, to sign the treaty of Versailles. Which was a limited 100,000 man army. Germany was mutilated of the territory that it had gained throughout ages of war, and they had to pay huge prices for what they have done. Worst of it all was that Germany had to take full responsibility for the war. This had taken pride and public principles away from the country. Many political parties were angered at the very signing of the treaty. The people who signed this treaty were seen as delinquents. During this era, Adolf Hitler was getting involved in politics and slowly began to rise in power. He joined a party called the German Worker's Party, later known as the Nazi
Party. During world war 1 and 2 Joseph Stalin had Transformed Russia from a starving peasant country into a real competitor which had very good resources and had a strong economic system which was later called the USSR. On first sight the new reclaimed Soviet Union was not a threat until Stalin started to outmaneuver his rival countries to gain full power to do so he had to potential enemies eliminated or sent to labor camps. Also most of the citizens of russia denied stalin as their leader so he had most of the outspoken people killed and forced agricultural and industrial workers to their max even to a point where it killed them. Once in power Stalin aligned with britain and the united states. Later known by his allies as a political agitator this alignment faded. Stalin had ruled Russia this way for more than a decade and later died right after the Great Construction Projects of Communism was established In the end both of these maniacal dictators were on par with each other on terms of global upset but Hitler was far more hated for his crimes against the jewish annihilation in the labor camps during world war 2. To sum it up Stalin was terrible to his country and the weak around him but Hitler did not care he quickly rose to power and immediately tried to take over the whole world to prove the point that he was the greatest and no one could stop him!
