At Pekin, Julie had many jobs within the hospital before she became the House Supervisor. During the interview, Julie stated “I was the medical/surgical nurse, and ER nurse, a labor and delivery nurse, and a postpartum nurse, all before becoming the House Supervisor.” This means that she assisted in surgeries and getting patients ready for surgery, worked in the ER treating patients, worked with mothers and babies during the deliveries, and worked with the mothers after giving birth.
