Justin Allen Craig was born on December the 24th 1993 in Beverly Hills California, the second child, to parents Amelia Maria Fuentes and Jeffry Allen Craig. Being apart of the first generation of children to be born and raised in the United States on both sides, he was brought up with a privileged lifestyle. His father coming from a small island off the coast of Florida better known as the Bahamas and mother hailing from a small country in central America known as Belize. Being a multi cultured Justin always felt as though he was a little different than most other children he was surrounded by. Growing in a predominately wealthy Caucasian environment, Justin was able to obtain skills and experience countless situations many children could not. Attending one of the best private Christian schools in southern California his early years gave Justin the opportunity to gain an early education from the time he was 4 years old.
As a child Justin participated in various extra curricular activities such as boy scouts, karate, football, soccer, and swimming being his favorite. As the years went on he began to solely focus on …show more content…
his swimming career. Justin had heart set dreams and aspirations of becoming an Olympic level swimmer in his future. He intended on doing whatever it took to bring theses about.
In 2005 Justin and his family moved to the city of Northridge located in the San Fernando Valley located in southern California.
After the swift separation of his parents many things had begun to change in Justin’s normal routine life. Beginning his years as a middle school student at George K. Porter Magnet Middle School, Justin was introduced to a completely new environment. Attending Porter enabled him to gain the friendships of kids whom were just like him, friendships in which he still holds till this very day. These years would prove to be a learning experience not just academically but socially. Justin was apart of various clubs one being on the Leadership Council. Planning and organizing various school events he gained a well-rounded sense of responsibility he still leans on
today.
Justin began his high school career at Granada Hills Charter High School. He attended this highly esteemed high school for his freshman year before the controversy of multiple suicides in the student body suspected to have come about from the extreme difficulty of the curriculum. Justin was moved to John F. Kennedy High School in which his elder sister attended. He I inspired to follow in his sisters footsteps of obtaining a Undergraduate Degree in Biology in which she obtained from the University of California Los Angeles. Justin attended JFK for two consecutive years before moving to Atlanta, Georgia where he would complete his senior year. His mother was to be wed to Brooke W. Payne a recognizable name in the entertainment industry.
On May the 19th 2012 Justin graduated from Langston Hughes High School in Fairburn, Georgia with his family and friends in attendance. With multiple scholarships and acceptances from various colleges and universities it was time for Justin to make his first real life decision. Unlike his sister Justin took a different approach straying away from the city life and chose to attend Tuskegee University. The proximity of being far enough from home for freedom but close enough to visit at will was perfect. Justin is studying to obtain a degree in Biology before furthering his education to become a doctor in the pediatrics field. Being a pediatrician has been a life long dream and aspiration oh his since he was a young child. Justin has always had a passion for helping others especially young children. Being a pediatrician would give Justin the opportunity to help and guide children in the right direction. Being brought up in the first born American generation of his family he would like to make something of himself and prove to his grandmother living the American dream is very much possible.
Within the next 5 to 10 years Justin has many hope, dreams, and aspirations for himself.
