Inside 24 hours of the attack, police found a photograph of the real Johnny Briscoe in their documents and built up a photograph exhibit to present to the victimized woman (Briscoe, n.d.).
One of the photographs in the array of photos was Johnny Briscoe. It was a mug shot in the police documents for a stolen vehicle and an attempted theft suspect in the mid 1970's
