Kaleb Lopez was the new kid at Oklahoma High school. After his father lost his job in New York Kaleb and his family were forced to move to Oklahoma where they stayed with Kaleb's grandparents. After moving schools in the middle of the semester, Kaleb found it hard to make new friends. Every time Kaleb would try to make a new friend, he would begin to sweat as if someone was holding a heat lamp over him. The first time Kaleb tried to talk to someone he actually had to ring out his shirt from all the sweat. As the year went on, he started to think of some ideas that might bring his new friends.
