~ Collins Writing Assignment: Nuclear Energy Persuasive Assignment ~
Many citizens complain about how the world needs to change. Without experimenting new things you’ll never know the results. That brings me to the usage of Nuclear Energy. Nuclear Power is the use of sustained nuclear fusion to generate heat and electricity. The world energy demand should be met by the Nuclear Energy because it’s efficient to the environment, it’s clean and safe to use, and there’s a chance to a new, improved, and brighter future.
First and foremost, Nuclear Energy is efficient to the environment. It provides many positive environment sources. James Lovelock says, “Nuclear Power is the most environmentally friendly option. It has zero emissions and a minimal waste problem.” Initially, Nuclear Energy does not produce carbon dioxide or other greenhouse gases suspected to cause global warning. Nuclear Energy does nothing to threaten or harm the environment.
Secondly, Nuclear Energy is clean and safe to use. With just a few Nuclear Power plants we could supplement the world’s transition into a fully renewable energy economy. According to Energy Solutions, “Much of the waste from Nuclear Power plants is low-level radioactive waste that can be safely disposed using available and reliable technology.” Nuclear Energy is the only source of energy that can replace a significant part of the fossil fuels in a safe and clean manner.
