After the French and Indian War, many revolutionary events occurred. Land was passed around and tensions grew. Probably the most vital rivalry that arose was the one between the British and the American colonists in North America. Due to the French and Indian War, the peaceful relationship between the British and the American colonists was demolished. This is due to laws passed by King George III and British Parliament that the American colonists in North America disagreed with.

The colonists became very angered after some decisions and laws were passed by the folks back in Great Britain. A major one was King George’s Proclamation of 1763. The Proclamation declared that the Native Americans who have a relationship with the British shall not
