King Kong was written by Merian C. Cooper and Edgar Wallace but then it was rewritten by Peter Jackson who also directed the film. Naomi Watts played the role of the brave and beautiful Ann Darrow which also included Carl Denham as Jack Black we also had Jack Driscoll as Adrian Brody. There was also new characters like Lumpy the cook who was played by Andy Sirkis, also he acted as Kong and Preston played as Collin Hanks. In the old film Dnham has to persuade the shop keeper to not arrest her stealing an apple, so now I knew Ann was someone different.
When Naomi Watt’s was acting as Ann she was very annoying to me, I did not like all the screaming that she was doing. I did like like Fay Wray’s acting when she was Ann, she was kind hearted and brave. Fay Wray’s was a way more likable character to me, she has more traits to being a better actress. Even though characters change throughout the original and the remake, I would still enjoy watching them for the action and suspense. There are parts where I tense up in both movies, when you tense up that’s when you know the movie is effecting you. I would have to say though the remake is my favorite because of how much that movie seems so realistic. I chose these movies because when I was a 8 years old I watched King Kong for the first time. I was scared for at least 2 months, Kong was always be in my dreams. But overall these were good movies for people who like action and anxiety. Just know that when you watch the movies, It wasn't the airplanes who killed King Kong it was beauty that killed the
