Kuwait and Dubai
All countries and cities in the world have its advantages. They may share some customs and traditions, but most countries have different life styles, size and climate. We all think that Gulf countries are similar but they are not. They have some differences. Kuwait and United Arab Emirates especially Dubai share many similarities also they have many differences.
There are many similarities between Kuwait and Dubai. Both of them are Muslims and speak Arabic but they have different accent. The weather also is almost similar. It’s hot and humid in both countries. Kuwait and the United Arab Emirates are one of the richest countries in the world. Kuwait depends on oil, but United Arab Emirates Dependent on oil, trade and tourism in Dubai. Both of these two countries are in Arabian Gulf and they share the same customs and traditions.
There are many differences between Kuwait and Dubai. The culture in Dubai is more open than the culture in Kuwait. In Dubai it is allowed to drink alcohol but in Kuwait it is not allowed. Kuwait is poor in transports public, but Dubai have many transports public like Dubai Metro. Dubai is one of the countries that visited by many tourist every year. Kuwait is not a tourist country. Dubai has skyscrapers and more modern building than in Kuwait. The tallest tower in the world is in Dubai, and it is called Khalifa tower. Al Hamra Tower is the tallest building in Kuwait, and it is the tallest sculpted tower in the world.
Another difference between Kuwait and Dubai is the economic. Dubai is one of the fastest growing economies in the world, and includes a lot of shopping malls and tourist facilities. Also Dubai has expanded its airport to become one of the largest airports in the world. The economy in Kuwait is one of the most important economies in the Middle East, and Kuwait is one of the largest exporters of oil in the world.
