Lady Macbeth Research Paper

Is lady Macbeth as bad and evil as people make her out to be? People thinks she's a bad person because her husband wanted to become king. By being the wife of Macbeth, she is almost required to follow and help Macbeth with everything he does. Once the witches told Macbeth he would be king, he became obsessed and anxious. He was willing to to do almost anything even any dark deeds for the crown. And when lady Macbeth found out about this, she was extremely excited and was willing to do anything to make her husband king, going as far as murder. Just the thought of being queen can drive almost anybody to do unforgivable things. As planning went on Lady Macbeth became to have more ambition than her husband. The night that Duncan was
murdered, she had to almost reconvene him into the original plan. Doubting his courage and manhood, saying she'll do it if he dont. But when it comes down to the murder, she can't commit. After the murder of Duncan, lady Macbeth seems to become softer. She feels the terrible guilt of planning the killing of Duncan. She attempted to wash the blood off her hands but can't seem to do so. She felt so guilty about what happened that she took her own life. Lady Macbeth drowned in guilt, was unable to enjoy the pleasures of being a queen. Lady Macbeth was not as bad as people might think, she was just engulfed in the deeds that was filled in her head by Macbeth. Even though following and helping her husband through terrible things she is still a good woman and wife for helping her husband follow his goal even though she took murderous action.
