One day Mandrell listened to complaints from her students they felt stressed out from receiving an excessive amount of work in her class while trying to manage their other classes. I agree that a grading system is needed to keep students such as myself engaged and focused on completing assignments but I don’t believe that a grade should be the main focal point for learning. In concluding the experiment Mandrell asked her student to reflex on what were their thoughts of the experiment one of the students Chris stated “I work harder and learn more when the grade is on the line” I agree with Chris I can retain more information when grades are on the line because there’s something to work towards. Without the pressure of maintain good grades yes I agree I would become stress free when it comes to school but like most of Mandrell students I would start to feel like a lazy student and make bad habit for
