Unboxing
Leagoo M8 comes inside a huge box which contains the usual papers, a charger, a micro-USB cable and unlike some more expensive Chinese smartphones it has earphones included. So far so good!
Design
Leagoo M8 is a 5.7-inch phablet so undoubtedly it’s a big phone. In the front side besides the screen we find the 8 MP front camera and the sensors. On the back which is made of plastic we see the 13 MP rear …show more content…
But using some software tricks they are made to produce 13 MP and 8 MP images. While it isn’t exactly like having a 13 MP and 8 MP cameras they take good photos and the quality is good even in low light. What I don’t like is the video quality. The videos are shaky, blurry and lack quality in general. So don’t buy this phone if you are into video recording.
Unlike many cheap Chinese smartphones with dated and often faulty camera software, Leagoo’s camera app is slick and pretty fast. The autofocus works fine too.
Battery And Audio
The phone comes with a 3500 mAh removable battery. It is a big enough battery to provide the phone with a solid day out of a charge which is fine considering the price.
The fact that the speaker is in the back side is compensated by its powerful output. The audio transmitted on headphones is good too. So you shouldn’t worry about audio too.
Conclusion
To some, this Leagoo M8 review might seem too rosy. But don’t think so. This phablet is not the next Samsung Galaxy Note. But for its price of $92 on Gearbest it’s almost too good to be true. The pros are: solid build, well-protected screen, vibrant colours, good fingerprint scanner, good battery and audio and good cameras for taking photos. The downsides are: no 4G LTE and weak WiFi reception. It is up to you to decide if Leagoo M8 is good for you but in my opinion if you are looking for a really cheap mobile phone this one is the right
