Lena Alternate Ending
The sunlight hit her eyes and he felt his heart skip a beat. Her eyes were beautiful, there was no doubt about that, but the way the sunlight danced across her face and brought out the flickering specks of gold in her eyes made him feel as though he was the richest man on earth. The way she looked at him sent shivers through his body. She looked at him with such passion that he was sure no one had ever felt anything like it before. As they inched closer to each other, he felt as though he was floating on a cloud. After what seemed like an eternity, he finally reached her. He reached for her hand to introduce himself. The softness of her hand felt unusual beneath his calloused hands. The fear of damaging her silky skin caused him to drop her …show more content…
What is your name?” he said. She looked at him as though she was contemplating on whether or not to answer. He was sure he had offended her by dropping her hand. “My name is Lena. I understand that you are to be my husband, is that correct? Just because this is an arranged marriage, do not believe for one second that you own me. I am still my own person and I will be treated as such.” she said hastily. She was very direct and unlike any other woman he had met. The women from his country would never talk to a man like this. They are submissive to men and understand that without a man they would be nothing. “That is correct, I am to be your husband. The fire in her eyes lead him to the conclusion that she had probably just planned his death in about fifty horrific and extremely painful ways. As she began to walk away from him, he knew he needed to stop her, but how he wondered? “Lena, wait! Dance with me.” Kalan hollered. Lena stopped dead in her tracks, turned around with a baffled expression and said, “Dance with you? Why?” Kalan walked closer to Lena, grabbed her hands and smiled. “Dance with me, Lena. I know that we do not know each other but I feel as though we are destined to be together. I am not very good with words and have a hard time expressing my feelings. If you let me, I will …show more content…
The twinkle in his eyes made her legs feel so wobbly that she was afraid that they would give out at any minute. Her heart raced at the thought of her hands in his, moving their bodies to a rhythm only they could hear. “How could someone that she does not even know, ignite so many feelings inside of her?” She thought to herself. She looked at Kalan and said, “How are we supposed to dance when there is no music?” Kalan smiled and said, “Ah, to truly dance you do not need to hear anything. You must feel it with everything in you. Take my hand Lena and I shall show you.” Lena grabbed Kalan’s hand and he pulled her into

Her hand began to slowly wander from around his neck down to his thigh. She leaned over and whispered something softly into his ear. He felt as though he was paralyzed, or suspended in time. The thoughts raced through his mind at a blinding speed. "I don't want it to be like this; not our first time. This is so messed up. What do I do?"
