Leonardo’s most famous piece of artwork was the Last Supper. This piece of his took a couple of years to complete, from 1495-1497, only to disintegrate soon after it’s completion. It was designed to be the centerpiece of the mausoleum for the Sforza family. His design of the Last Supper, was the most famous for its way of portraying the final days of Jesus and the exact emotions of his twelve apostles. He painted the twelve apostles in groups of three, representing the Holy Trinity, each group sharing a similar reaction. The reactions were assorted from surprised, anger/betrayal, upset/confused, to thinking of who's at fault. Leonardo took very detailed notes over all his art pieces such as the ten attributes of light he reflected in the Last Supper. Leonardo had documented lots of notes on how to create new inventions that were before his time. He had so many creations that were probably never developed until later centuries. Leo had several different journal entries on several inventions such as; the flying machine, armored car, diving suit, machine gun, and the humanoid robot. He created a “robotic knight” that was movable by operating cables. His work was not very useful until about four hundred and fifty years later. When his notebook was discovered it became was very useful to Mark Rosheim who took his notes to help him create NASA’s robotic systems.
