Leonardo Da Vinci's Influence On The Modern World
Imagine you are born in 1452 as the illegitimate son of a legal specialist, and a peasant woman. Because of this, his parents could not raise Leonardo da Vinci, so his parent’s family raised him in Vinci. This is a problem that he faced his entire life. While he was truly loved by his parents, he was never truly accepted by society. However, the criticism he faced in his early years quickly vanished as a result of his achievements. Because he had such a wide variety of skills and knowledge, he is often called a universal genius. Leonardo da Vinci was to become one of the most brilliant painters and most skilled geniuses in history. He is a hero for many things, but mostly for his paintings, inventions, and his impact on today’s arts.

The Last Supper was a biblical event, in which Jesus and his disciples gathered for a final dinner together. In the painting, Jesus has just announced that one of them will betray him and the first communion. This painting is the first great painting of the High Renaissance. Interestingly enough, the painting is argued to have used mathematical laws of perspective. He used these laws to focus attention on Jesus’s face. Leonardo wished to paint slowly and be able to look over his work, but that would’ve been impossible with the popular fresco technique. So, he developed a new technique. Unfortunately, shortly after completing the painting it began to flake away. While the painting still exists, it is in very bad condition.
