Letter to my friend
Dear Jason, How are you? How is your girlfriend? I hope that you all are fine. Sorry I did not reply before, because I am doing refurbishment of my flat so I have been really busy. Albeit the construction work, I have decided to improve my English and I am taking the evening English courses twice per week. I am really excited to hear that you have decided to visit my home town. So, to begin with, I’d want to inform you that my flat will be completely done by your arrival, and you can stay there for free of charge! It will cost you nothing!
Secondly, I’d suggest you to visit and see a few of amazing places: a picturesque lake placed in the city centre, the Ternopil castle, the museum of local and regional history and the Catholic and Orthodox churches. Then you can go to one of the leisure centres or to the night club. In other days we can go to the Carpathian Mountains and see castles' ruins in Ternopil region; they are not less amazing than those in England.
You were asking about what kind of clothes to take with you. I would say that the weather is perfect now, very warm and quiet. But nobody knows how long it will be like that, so I would strongly suggest you to take boots and coat with you, just in case. Do not worry about an umbrella, you can borrow mine, if it is rainy. I am waiting for your next notice about the date and time of your arrival, . I will meet you in the airport and then we will go back by my car.
