Guernica the winning Anti-war painting in history. Shares the chaos and violence that left the country’s
life’s suffering in deserter of what have come upon them. The different painting style speaks the same
pain that they went through.
The smoke bloody air hover over francs streets, standing on piles of killed people that where
dragged from bed, stands lady of liberty holding the flag high, striving for freedom. Eugène Delacroix
done a great job in painting the scenery and captured the emotion of Liberty Leader. Looking at the
picture you can see the movement of the people running, falling and the bombing sounds of gun shots.

The darkness that surrounds them leaves the spotlight aiming on them for easy prey. The
town with no escapes turns in to a death chamber. The horror created mangled creatures, lumped, cut
and stretched destructive body’s that disgust the sight to see, they cry with agony. Picasso done a
terrific job painting Guernica, the harsh Spanish Civil War that happened in year 1936-1939. Showing the
suffer of people, animals and buildings wrenched by violence and chaos. There are no emphasis to the
painting but it has a strong movement that circles your eyes capturing each scene.
Both Liberty Leader and Guernica have similarities and differences. The paintings are about war
and the suffer of the country. The war are in different time period. Their rhythm is also the same, you
have the foreground pails of killed, dead people. Then the war zone in the middle of the painting, then
the fogged or dark background. Although the France Revolution happened first they are using guns
while the Spanish War used swords in the painting. Liberty Leader has a more realistic feeling to it then
Guernica, they are both oil painted. Both painting have emotionalism, violence and action but Liberty
Leader has more of a focus to
