has to be segrated? It’s sad that people had to go through those long rough roads just to try to live right. It wasn’t easy for blacks to get around peacefully either.
They got harassed a lot and also threatened a lot by whites for not even doing anything but minding their own business. Black African Americans had it so rough. It was hard for them to get on buses because if they got on they had to sit to the back and then if a white person didn’t have a seat they had to give the seat up for a white person to sit down. My honest opinion about that is that if anyone no matter what color skin you are if you come to the bus late and you have nowhere to sit then that’s your fault. Come to the stop early, you know what time the bus passes. That’s just a hateful move. Nobody is
special! Families had to struggle for homes if they were Black African Americans. They couldn’t live in the same neighborhood as whites. If you tried there would be trouble coming after you. Blacks had to struggle for a house while whites found houses easily. Mostly everything for them. African Americans are better off today than in the 1960s because we have it it very easy and way better. We should appreciate everything we have now and be thankful that we don’t have to go through what they went through in the 1960s. We have have so much freedom now THANK YOU JESUS!!I thank God for everyday from everything he does for us. The 1960s had it bad. I hope we want every have to go through that again as blacks. Yes, I believe Africans Americans are better off today than in the 1960s.
