Lifting Weights
Lifting weights has been my de-stressor for a while now, even if I did not label it as that before this assignment. It has proven to be effective at keeping me as stress free as can be expected as well. With me taking the two hardest accounting classes this semester I have needed to not get in the over-stressed zone that makes me too worried to complete my work I need to do for each of those classes. The shear amount of work I have to do for each of my accounting classes which cause more stress then I have experienced in all my other semesters. I have definitely learned something about effective time management this semester having to effectively manage it. As far as lifting weights being an effective de-stressor, it has proven to be one.

    When I was under stress, for my Relaxation Technique, I chose to do different breathing exercises. Breathing can help you maintain a good physical and mental state of mind. Recently, I was assigned about one to two projects in each of my six classes, all within one week and they were all due on the same day. I thought I would be able to do it by doing a little bit each day. It turned out that I had done too little and about two days before they were due, I was so stressed out that I cried and didn’t know how to handle this situation. I put everything that needed to be done out in front of me and just stopped. I closed my eyes and did breathing exercises. I took several deep breaths and came back to my senses.
