Introduction
To conserve something is to preserve, restore and protect valuable resources such as the natural environment and its wildlife for future generation. Conservation is a vital element of sustainable development, it can lead to many desirable outcomes such as the increasing growing amount of species, builds awareness for the people and also provides an opportunity in education. This study analyze the number of conservation efforts in Pulau Ubin which has been done to conserve its Habitats and biodiversity.

To make CES better in use for places that are under managing and conserving habitats, we have to understand what habitats are used for, and where are the activities that takes place. It is challenging to access CES as it requires time, efforts and can be expensive. Visual information such as social media data, geo-tagged photographs is used to infer. Existing data through social media that contributes various useful information for cost effective assessments as well as the speed on getting information. Photographs of organisms are more likely in the terrestrial habitats and mangroves. With this tool for CES it not only provides information that would be useful in managing mangroves, it could also be used to applied to asses across a range of habitats and setting. CES has become commonly considered when it comes to the ecosystem service evaluation.
During the conservation of mangroves, CES are used in managing, as this city-state has undergo rapid urbanization which resulted in the decline in key habitat such as mangrove forest that are currently small and …show more content…
Few existing mangroves will come under pressure from the development in the future. It is therefore important and valuable to understand the diversity of CES can provide. Losing one of the mangrove can caused environmental degradation and may result in the loss of resources that is not available at the remaining mangroves. To combat this risk, managers seek to increase the diversity of cultural uses by replicating the diverse habitat types and infrastructure (both within and outside the mangrove) that are present in Chek
