Before moving, he struggled to live with his parents who had skills the society had taken away from most people. In the outer provinces he was free from all of the restrictions and rules of the society. With blue eyes that seem to change color to Cassia, black hair, and tanned skin, Cassia is destined, but not allowed to fall in love with him. Growing up with a troubled childhood and the memories of his parents’ death, he’s a mystery to pretty much everyone except Cassia who over time he has revealed his story to through poems and drawings.
