I’m sure that the thought of eternal life is one that evryone years for at some point in their life. We all think that’d it’d be fun , almost like a heaven on earth, but have we ever thought of the consequences that would come with living forever? For one, the earth would be over flowing with people, causing land space to diminish. Also, our food supply would decrease and with all the land being taken up we wouldn’t be able to grow much more. Lastly, living forever doesn’t mean that there still won’t be disease. Living forever automatically means much less space in the world. This is because there will be exponential births and all the billions of people who already inhabit the earth will still be there. Already this will cause many people to be in the streets. Poverty would strike, leaving nothing but an eternity of devastation in its wake. This is one of many reasons why living forever wouldn’t be everything it seems. Another very important reason why living forever wouldn’t be so great is that our food supply would quickly be demolished. Many disputes would break out over who deserves what food. Crime rates would skyrocket. We wouldn’t be able to grow more food because all the arable land would be taken up as living space. Many people would starve for their lifetime which is a lot more painful than death. Lastly, living forever doesn’t necessarilly mean that disease won’t stick around. Having to live on forever with an incurable disease has to be too tagic to bear, right? There are plenty of painful diseases that are yet to have cures! That being said, a life in which you live forever could be one filled
