Lizzie Velasquez Research Paper
Lizzie Velasquez is a woman that was bullied most of her life and she stood up for herself. She was inspirational to many people for her actions to prove the bullies wrong. From a nasty YouTube video she has grown up as a confident woman to prove to them that she is strong and won't give up. She has defied what the doctors have predicted she would not be able to do, adding to her persistence to stay strong. With ongoing support from her parents, other well known people, and some organisations, she has been able to be herself and spread her story. Her mission is to end bullying, and to consult with congress to do so. Most people have a story to tell about their experiences with bullying, from being bullied to being the bully. Lizzie has worked hard throughout these many years of hurt, battling through hurtful hate comments and ridiculing, but has managed to keep her cool and stay a dedicated to her main task. She has an extremely rare disease that only 2 other people in the world have. It makes it impossible for her to gain weight no matter how much she eats. She eats 60 times a day but to no prevail, one of her eyes is blind, and she has …show more content…

She was bullied since she was a young child and has always kept her eyes for the sky. She has worked for both her confidence and for the riddance of bullying, getting closer to her goal with every passing year. Lizzie inspired people to do the right thing, no matter how discouraging people are, and build off of their negativities. Keeping her mission in mind Lizzie Velasquez has also been supported by her devoted parents, several other famous people, and well known groups. All of these people have been touched by this unyielding woman and her ongoing quest. With all of these people joining in the fight to end bullying, there are still heartless people out there, and the statement remains. Join
