Ironically later in the novel when the Ranch workers went to the whore house Lennie, Crooks and Candy were left behind and as the character she had become she put them down by saying ‘ they left the weak ones behind’ even though she was left behind to. She says this because she has suffered a lot as she is neglected by the other characters and the thought of loneliness gets to here and she wants to make the others feel the same. The reason behind all of her loneliness was when she was offered a film job however her mum denied her from achieving this which may have scared her and now she wants to show people what she went
