Medha College Of Engineering LETTER OF RECOMMENDATION I am very much pleased to recommend Mr.Chakradhar as a prospective student for graduate program have known him for the past 3 and ½ years as an undergraduate student of Computer Science & Engineering at this college and I had many opportunities to observe him close quarters was his instructor for the courses Network Programming and Unix. I would like to elucidate few facts about him that impressed me the most. Mr.Chakradhar is quite ambitious and career driven. He works hard to achieve his goals and is committed to his work. He is emotionally matured, confident and good-natured. He is very interactive in the class and endorses the discussions with cogency and natural ease. This combined by his pragmatic approach has always kept ahead of his peers. Blessed with eminent analytical abilities and an acute sense of reasoning he can analyze enigmatic problems exceptionally well and come out with good formulations. He is a student with self-reliance and good levels of self-confidence. Mr.Chakradhar’s deep understanding of the subject, as well as his quest for knowledge constantly impressed me. He has repeatedly proved his conceptual ability and creative outlook in the classroom debates with his novel problem solving methods. To add to this feature, his latest seminar on the ‘Automation’ is appreciative. He has flair for keeping himself abreast with latest developments in technology. Keeping in view all the above stated facts I would place him among the top 10% of his class students. With his self confidence and intellectual ability, he will excel graduate studies and I recommend him to be awarded an assistantship to enable him pursue his further studies. I

In Charles Simic’s “A Reunion with Boredom,” Simic talks about the need for “a quiet place to sit and think.” (Simic 374). In my house, I have a few quiet places to sit and think. But my most favorite and most used place is my basement. I have a beat-up, old, plush couch and loveseat set to lounge on, with pillows. There are blankets for when I’m cold, and when it’s hot, the basement is the coolest place in the house so either way, I’m comfortable. I can play music, create white noise with the washer or dryer, or simply sit in silence. But my favorite thing about the basement is that it’s downstairs so I can sit in peace without my dogs crawling all over me or whining and scratching. Anything I could need to chill out, sit and think is in the basement.…

For my final project I have chosen to read and write on John Steinbeck’s “The Pearl.” The reason I chose this novel is because I thoroughly enjoyed reading “Of Mice and Men” which is also written by Mr. Steinbeck. I don’t get the opportunity to read many books of late and figured this would be the ideal time to read more of Mr. Steinbeck’s work. I am only about halfway through the book right now but my initial impression is that the main character, Kino, is similar to me in the aspect he greatly cares for his family and wants to provide for them as best he can.…
