In our daily life we do not think about symbolism. Most times we notice it in books or movies,
But we can also, for example see symbolism in colours. The colour red, means for some person’s excitement, energy, or passion. Symbolism is a big subject in the novel Lord of the Flies. I am going to talk about one of these symbols.

The littluns and the bigguns need to survive on a uninhabited island and they try to get released from the island. The bigguns are the elder boys on the island, there are around 12 years. The littluns are the young boys on the island, they are around 6 years old. There is this one boy and they call him Piggy. He is smart, but nobody wants to listen to him. The leader of the group is Ralph. The boy who wants to be the leader is a savage, called Jack. The boys on the island are only playing and not helping with the tasks Ralph gives them, and Jack is the one on his duty trying to hunt.
