Have you ever felt above the law; like you're invincible and can't be stopped. Like you do something illegal like speeding or lighting fireworks off like that type of above the law. This is how Jack felt when he was the leader of his tribe and because of this he did some uncivilized and unforgivable things. Jack felt law less and rule less and in this paragraph it will be all about what he did when he felt like this.
One way that Jack’s is above the law and is far gone from civilization is what he wears and how much clothes he wears. Another way to measure a savary is by how long a that person's hygiene and whether or not they clean themselves. In chapter 4 jack paints …show more content…
In chapter 9 when all the kids were dancing around the fire Simon was walking through the forest with the parachute over him and when Jack sees this and attacks Simon and the kids stab, bit and claw at Simon's body until he lays there motionless. Then in chapter 10 Jack says “and then, the beast might try to come in. You remember how he crawled” jack was referring to Simon. This is proof to jack's lawlessness because first of all he killed somebody just because he thought that Simon was some sort of magical beast but it's really bad because he says that they had to kill Simon just because he was poshest and he can't expect that was he did was full out murder. Another sign that makes Jack lawless and just over all doesn't care about normal civilization. This proves his lawlessness because in normal people would expect this and go with it and maybe run again another day and in fact that would be a law, but instead he just walked off. “If you want to join my tribe come and see. Perhaps I'll let you join. Perhaps …show more content…
In chapter 10 jack steals piggy's glasses, this proves jacks lawlessness and his morals because he's so ruthless that he would even steal from someone who needs that object in order to operate on a daily basis “Far off along the bowstave of the beach, three figures trotted toward the castle rock, The chief led them, trotting steadily, exulting in his achievement. He was a chief now in truth; and he made stabbing motions with his spear. From his left hand dangled Piggy’s broken glasses”page 296. In chapter 11 Piggy was speaking while holding the conch and Roger moves the lever and a bolder comes down right on piggy's head and kills him. This has a lot to do with Jack because although he was shocked at first that he was dead but after that he below it off like it was nothing and started blaming Ralph that it was his fault. “See? See? That's what you'll get! I meant that! There isn't a tribe for you any more! The conch is gone-” This proves that Jack just has no morals if he can justify murder and blame it on other
