Part 1:
In writing this statement I will explore the ideas and customs associated with what love is known to be, with reason and argument. I will mostly be analyzing romantic love, in relation to lovers. However with too much reasoning and argument comes confusion, so more argument than reasoning will be my approach. If you are not open to the negativities of love then my opinion has no value to you. For the positives of any topic are pleasing whether or not one can assimilate to the specifics. People generally are more interested in words of affirmation, but that’s not the purpose of this essay. The purpose is to establish a spin on the aspects of love and where it is applied most often, from my view.
Part 2:
In the fundamental aspect, love is a necessary part of life according to the Bible. Actually it’s one of the main reasons for why God made the world and all it contains, putting humans at a superior rank among the rest of all living things on Earth. He loved us, and considers humans his greatest creation. Then that brings up the point of how love is used as an explanation for grand and complex concepts. In the depths of the Bible, a book named Corinthians defines love; “Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. 5 It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. 6 Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.” This definition is positive, with aspects that can be turned negative, making it all the more fitting for the topic it addresses. It is important to keep some pride as a part of confidence, but here it says there is none. It’s intriguing to contemplate what one really loves in his or her life. The whole point of Christ’s decision to die for our sins, is because of his love for us. It can’t necessarily be explained to the detail, it is truly a mystery
