Love and Hate
“The Differences between Love and Hate”

Have you ever hated someone, so much that you love them? I know it sounds very crazy but that’s how life goes. My boyfriend and I love each other to death we play, we cuddle, and we kiss, and hug. There’s the time we argue, fight, and exchange bad words to each other. At the end of the day we love each other too much to separate from one another. Love means an intense feeling of deep affection to someone. Loving your parent, sister brother, or friend is a different feeling from loving your significant other. The love that I have for my family is like I can’t put anyone before them. They are the number one key to my success. The love that I have for my boyfriend is special to me he is my knight and shiny armor. However, love is a very powerful word. Love can take control over people and also can ruin lives too. Some people can be blinded by so much love that they don’t see the damage that been done to themselves. Abusive relationships are a good example of blinded love. Women can be in abusive relationship for many years and still love the man that hits on them. I know it sounds very crazy, but love is very crazy. Hate means to feel intense or passionate dislike for someone. Hate has a powerful meaning. Hating someone means you strongly dislike that person for who they are or what they got going for themselves. Now hating the person you love is different from hating someone you don’t know. You probably hate your lover for that moment or hate the thing he or she does at that time. People can live with hate in their hearts forever. For example, a person you really like and they did something really bad to you and you can’t find in your heart to forgive that person of that one mistake. You ever heard people can die from hatred. Hating someone can drive you to hating yourself or doing crazy things. People can even hate there selves by the way they look. That’s why it’s so many of plastic surgeons in this world.

What is love? I never knew until I was fourteen year old at my first horse show. “Hatred paralyzes life; love releases it. Hatred confuses life; love harmonizes it. Hatred darkens life; love illuminates it.” These words once spoken by Martin Luther King Jr. convey that love and hate have a great influence on our lives. William Shakespeare demonstrates these two strong emotions throughout the play Romeo and Juliet. In this play the children of two feuding families fall in love and attempt to overcome obstacles that come between their love. Romeo and Juliet by William Shakespeare conveys love to be stronger than hate because Romeo and Juliet’s love was able to change the beliefs of the characters, provide trust, and overcome an ancient hate.…
